What is a Snapp?
Snapp stands for Subdividable N Lang Application.
A Snapp is a complete piece of software written in N Lang. Its data contracts, its logic, its interface, its infrastructure and its permissions travel together in one typed package that people can read and machines can run.
Split a Snapp apart and every piece is still a Snapp. Snap Snapps together and the whole is a Snapp too. Snapps all the way down, and all the way up.
Small enough to reuse. Big enough to run your business.
The building blocks of the Knowledge Model
Squillo is building a brain. Snapps are what it is made of.
In the Squillo Knowledge Model, knowledge is not a pile of documents slowly drifting out of date. It is Snapps: typed, versioned functions on a ledger that actually run. Every Snapp teaches the model something it can do, and every Snapp after it can build on that.
That is how software grows beyond what any one person can hold in their head and still stays correct. No one has to understand the whole thing. The types already do.
Knowledge you can run.
Software as a Utility
You don't build a power plant to turn on a light.
So why rebuild software from scratch every time? A Snapp wraps a capability once (a service, a model, an interface, a data set) and turns it into something everyone can plug into: reusable, composable and ready the moment you need it. Any API can become a Snapp, even straight from its OpenAPI spec.
Snapps create products, not platforms. They disappear into the systems you already run instead of adding one more to manage.
One Snapp. Every layer.
The same language, the same contracts and the same security model, from the pixel to the server rack. Each layer is built by an N Lang framework, and every one of them speaks Snapp.
Web, mobile and desktop interfaces from one source. This website is a Snapp.
APIs and services built on typed commands, events and queries.
Statically typed infrastructure as code. Deploy to any cloud, on premises, or both.
Agents with tools, plans and agent-to-agent messaging that never exceed the authority of the person they work for.
Atomic, typed data sets with the data contract built in.
Processes and automations: sequencing, branching, sagas and effects.
Installable apps that run on Squillo OS, on your devices and your own storage.
One guard engine. Every agent action passes a cascade of permission checks before it runs.
Secure, reliable and fast. By default.
The most secure way to build expert models, and everything around them. None of it is a setting you have to remember to turn on.
Typed end to end
From the data contract to the deploy, N Lang checks the types. If the pieces don't fit, it doesn't ship.
Deny by default
Nothing is reachable until it is granted. Snapps run on a permissioned ledger, and an agent never exceeds the authority of the person it works for.
Every node has an address
Every piece of every Snapp is addressable and versioned, so you can trace who changed what, and when.
Readable by people and machines
One source reads as documentation for people and as a contract for machines. Pro code, low code and no code, all on the same thing.
Products, not platforms
Snapps disappear into the stack you already run, on premises or in any cloud, and your existing security policies stay in force.
Any API, in a Snapp
Wrap a service once, or generate it from an OpenAPI spec, and every Snapp can use it.
Type safe. Recursive. Self-improving.
The language that improves itself. Safely.
Snapps are written in N Lang, the language AI reasons in and builds with. Snapps can write, test and improve other Snapps, and every improvement is type checked and versioned before it lands.
The more it builds, the more it can build. And nothing changes without a trace.
