Versioning Scheme
There are many types of versioning schemes: Semantic and Non-Semantic and dependent upon the Cloud Provider they may require different types of Versioning.
Semantic versioning is when the version number of an API is in the format major.minor.patch. This can be used to manage breaking changes, as well as to provide different levels of access to the API. Semantic versioning is when the API is versioned according to its functionality.
Non-semantic versioning is when the version number of an API is in any other format. This can be used to manage breaking changes, as well as to provide different levels of access to the API.
