Risk Breakdown Structure (RBS)
A risk breakdown structure (RBS) is a tool used to decompose, or break down, the overall risk for a project into smaller, more manageable pieces. The RBS can be thought of as a 'map' of all the risks associated with a project, and provides a means to track and communicate those risks throughout the project lifecycle.
